What is PPTP on VPN (What is point to point tunneling protocol on Virtual private network).

PPTP sends a regular PPP session to GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) protocol.  Then another session on TCP on port 1723 is used to initiate and manage the session.  Firewalls are unable to let pass this traffic flawlessly, resulting in connection problems.  The connections are authenticated with Microsoft Chap.  Customers will have the option to get their VPN (Virtual private Network) protected by Microsoft RFC 3078.

How Reverse DNS (Domain Name System) Works (RDNS)

DNS server is responsible for domain name.  Standard DNS turning a host name into an IP.  The registrar sends the IP and domain name information to the root server.  Everyone can access that domain, and you can send them to any IP addresses you want.   Make sure you obtain a permission from the IP’s account holder before pointing any domain to that IP.
