25 Jan 2010, 1:08 pmThe “Next Big Thing” for the iPhone appears to be credit card readers, enabling anyone from market vendors selling handmade soap in Paddington on Saturdays, to mates paying out a lost bet (and a whole raft of goods and services that are usually frowned upon) to conduct their business without cash anywhere with mobile coverage, without the expense or inconvenience of current mobile credit card terminals.

Following and agreement between Vodafone Group and Google, VHA (Vodafone Hutchinson Australia) has confirmed it will be selling Google’s new touchscreen smart phone, the Nexus One, in Australia at some stage this year.
