Hello Netizens,

Today I will try and explain the fundamentals of your Arrow Phone bill, the layout of the invoice and any other charges you may see.

The first page of your invoice is the summary page.

This page is an outline of your total bill, broken down into service types, depending on what services you have with Arrow (eg: Fixed Line, Mobile, or Internet). You will also find the Direct Debit processing date for that invoice.

The second page displays your payment history for the last 12 months, as well as any Customer Notices for that billing period. It also details our payment methods.

The third page shows your Arrow Mobile Rewards transaction history, in addition to any pending points for that billing period.

Page 4 is a detailed summary of your invoice, broken into charge type and cost centres (if you have chosen to use cost centre billing). It also shows any account level fees and credits.

Page 5 onwards provides a detailed service summary of your fixed telephone services. You will find each of your services listed in numerical order, along with the number and type of calls made, and the applicable monthly line rental charges. Note that Arrow charge you line rental in advance, so you will always pay rental for the current month in the previous months invoice.

Following the detailed service summary is the Call Itemisation section which provides an itemised listing of all calls made for that billing period, except for local calls. If you require local call itemisation, just log in to My Account online and use the detail search tab.

if you have any questions regarding your Arrow invoice, please contact our helpful customer service team on 1300 305 794.

I hope you have found this guide useful for the management of your Arrow phone bill.

Have a great day and all the best for your future endeavours.

Daniel

Arrow Voice & Data is a full service telecommunications company that looks after the phone, mobile, hardware needs of business, corporate and Government departments across Australia.

Like any business that markets and advertises Arrow Voice & Data found finding the most cost effective mediums challenging until the employed the use of 1300 and 1800 numbers.

Before Arrow Voice & Data used 1300 and 1800 number for each marketing campaign the responsibility was on the sales person to ask the customer what advertising medium they were calling from, relying on this method of market research is prone to error as often sales people forget to ask the question or put in false information, and then you end up investing in mediums that are unsuccessful.

By appointing a 1300 or 1800 to each of your marketing campaigns callers are more likely to call as the call is free to them if they are dialing a 1800 number, or the price of a local call Australia wide to a 1300 number.

Arrow Voice & Data 1300 and 1800 number services also have built in caller tracking, this allows your marketing manager to view every number that called each of your 1300 or 1800 number the date and the time of day, this will allow you to get the best results from your marketing campagins and kill of poor performing campaign, all by appointing an inbound number to each of your marketing campaigns.

Arrow Voice & Data has cost effective 1300 plans with no monthly rental options, no setup fees, no flagfalls, and great call rates.

To go to our online number reservation click Number Reservation or call us direct on 1300 886 076

The new FaceTime video calling feature of iPhone 4 does not require mobile service after first use, enabling users to establish video chat from any WiFi hotspot, even while in Airplane Mode.

The apple insider originally when reviewing the FaceTime video calling feature originally stated that you would need to have an active mobile service and would not be able to be in airplane mode to make this type of call. This is incorrect. As long as you have completed a face time call in the past you are able to connect to the FaceTime video calling feature if you have no mobile coverage or if you are on an airplane and you have the airplane mode setup.

It is also possible to call, without any mobile service, a new contact you’ve never previously established a FaceTime chat with, although this must be done from Contacts (create a contact if necessary, then open it and hit the FaceTime button). The standard phone dialer keypad offers no option to call a number using FaceTime directly (yet).

Please see the following blog from the apple insider Apple Insider

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) This is a technology which allows you to make telephone (voice) calls using an Internet connection instead of using the standard public switched telephone network.

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) This is a technology which allows you to make telephone (voice) calls using an Internet connection instead of using the standard public switched telephone network.

VoIP is very clever as it allows remote workers to function as if he or she were directly connected to a PBX even while at home or in a remote office. You can unplug your office EPBX, plug into your home Internet connection and guess what it picks up the same phone number no matter the location it has been plugged into, skipping standard long distance charges.

VoIP is being used more and more to keep corporate telephone costs down, however price and quality are associated when it comes to VoIP solutions, the vast majority of problems with VoIP from any VoIP provider comes down to a lack of a reliable high-speed Internet connection. If you have a slow connection or trying to run to many handsets from the one Internet connection you call quality will suffer.

I don’t recommend you run a VoIP solution over your standard computer network, sharing the Internet connection. Think about this if your computer system gets a virus, your phone system also will, spend the extra and get a dedicated Internet connection.

Let’s not make this harder than it really is, VoIP is a very simple concept and very easy to set up with the right advice, products, backup support and provider, it is a fantastic alternate solution for you telecommunication needs.

If you are having problem with your ISDN services the first step to take is record the problem, whether it is a no dial tone issue, or an incoming or outgoing call problem or a drop out issue.

Information is the key here to isolate the problem; if you are having a no dial tone issue the first thing to do is to power-cycle the NTU box.

This action will give the NTU a reboot and most of the time brings the service back. If you are having a problem with outgoing calls only, then you will need to provide call examples so we can isolate the issue, the same information will need to be gathered for incoming calls.

If you are having an issue with the service dropping out, 3 call examples will be required for our upstream tester to do a trace on the call and isolate the problem. By providing us with relevant information we can isolate and report the issue to the correct up-stream carrier.

I hope these simple steps will help you if you do have any issues with your service remember we are always here to help you through any service difficulties.

Thanks

Jerry
