ADSL
11 Nov 2009, 1:04 pmHi All, In this blog I will be explaining what ADSL is and what type of speeds you will be able to get with ADSL services.
There are 2 types of ADSL services available through Arrow ADSL 1 and ADSL 2+. ADSL is a product that is delivered over a standard PSTN line that you have connected in your premises. They use the copper wire cable that your voice services run over and run the data service over different frequencies that are not used for Voice thus giving you access to an internet service.
ADSL 1 Range in speeds from 256Kbps up to 8Mbps download speed. This is perfect for home or small office use.
ADSL 2+ Can deliver a speed of up to 24Mbps. These speeds are dependant upon how far you are away from your telephone exchange and the quality of the copper cable that your voice service is running over.
If you require either of these services please call through to Arrow Voice and Data on 1300 305 794 and speak to one of our very friendly customer service representatives
