Disaster Recovery Kit, What Is It? And What Are the Terms & Conditions

Like all Telecommunication providers Arrow Voice & Data do not guarantee all services to be up and running 100% of the time and no service is fault FREE.

Due to this Arrow is one of the only providers who think outside the box and provide a Disaster Recovery Kit (DiRK) for cases which the fault can take more than the usual Service Level Agreement (SLA) to resolve be resolved.

This is available for internet and phone lines.

DiRK is subject to the following conditions for fixed lines:

1. DiRK is subject to availability , and is only available to customers of Arrow Voice & Data at the discretion of Arrow Voice & Data. Bare in mind that for service outages in spread areas the kits are available to first in best dressed. There are only limited amount of kits available. And Arrow can decide how many will be sent to each location based on the availability and need.

2. DiRK will only be made available to customers with land line faults exceeding Service Level Agreements; Telstra PSTN - 2 Business days, Telstra ISDN - 4 Business hours, Powertel PSTN – 4 Business hours and Powertel ISDN - 4 Business hours.

3. Arrow Voice & Data expects all due care to be taken with the use of the DiRK.

4. Arrow Voice & Data expects DiRK to be returned in the same acceptable and working condition it was provided to the customer.

5. In the event DiRK is returned damaged, the customer will agree to pay the cost of repairing the phone which will be no greater than the value of the phone and will pay the amount in full should DiRK be lost or stolen or for any other reason where the loan phone is not returned.

6. In the event the customer can not return DiRK in person, the customer agrees to accept all courier costs and takes full responsibility for the safe return of DiRK.

7. DiRK will be returned to Arrow Voice and Data within 24 hours of :

a) The customer’s fixed wire services being restored.

b) At the request of Arrow Voice and Data.

8. Arrow Voice and Data requires company credit details to be provided prior to DiRK being made available. This credit card will be used to cover any charges as outline above.

9. All call charges, other that call forward diversions, will be charged on the customer’s next monthly invoice.
