Mobile Faults

5 Dec 2008, 6:26 pm

The most common mobile faults, has to do with customers being unable to make, or receive calls. The following is number of ways to self diagnose why calls can not be made or recived:

1) The number “2″ Displayed in top left hand side of the screen (, Sony Ericsson phones only)

-If this occurs just Press and hold down the hash (#) key and press ok when it says “Change Phone Line “ on the screen; OR contact the handset manufacturer

2) “Insert SIM” appears on the handset

- When this message appears Check if the SIM is inserted correctly. If correct then the SIM may be faulty however do try the sim card on a different handset to make sure.

3) “Sim card blocked”

- This means that the pin number has been enter incorrectly 3 times and PUK code is required to Unblock the sim card.
Please contact Arrow to get the Puk code for the mobile number you will need to unblock.

When experiencing faults in relation to not being able to make or receive calls you will be surprised that generally it is resolved by a simple power cycle / switching the mobile phone off and on.
If all else above fails, you can get in contact with Arrow Voice & Data and we will be able to assist further.
