Smart Ways to Use My Account Online Reporting Tool
29 Sep 2008, 10:57 amMy Account is an online reporting service that Arrow Voice and Data offer to all their customers free of charge. With a user name and password the client can log in and find out information about their phone usage, data usage and inbound calls from inbound numbers.
Obviously customers will want to be able to monitor their data usage if they are on a data plan to avoid heading into the territory of excess data, but their are many other advantages when using My Account reporting for companies not only to save money, but increase productivity.
For a sale and marketing company wanting their staff to be busy making outbound calls it is a great way to see just how many calls individuals in the company are making and you can also see what lengths of time the staff member is spending on each of their calls. You can do this of course from a phone bills, but it may not be as effective to point out an operator who was a bit slack on the outbound calling activity a couple of weeks ago.
If you company has an inbound 1800 or 1300 numbers you can track where the calls are coming from. If you set up a different inbound number on different forms of marketing you can then monitor the progress of each of the campaniles to see which is preforming for the company and which is not.
Alternatively you may be able to track personal numbers that staff members are calling during office time that may be contributing to increased phone bills.
