What are these Mod Fees?
10 Aug 2009, 2:48 pmYou may find a modification fee on your latest bill and question why it was applied. Rest assured that any fees regarding modifications have been previously agreed and authorised by you or an authorised contact. A modification fee is required as changes require programming work on services.
Modification fees fall into the following categories.
- Line hunt removal
- Data modifications i.e. port forwarding, reverse DNS
- Change of data speed
- Addition and deletion of numbers on existing VoDSL services.
Modification fees vary depending on the type of work involved and the time for the modification to take affect vary from the same day to up to 7 working days.
Prior to any form of modification that requires a fee, a request form requires authorisation detailing the type of work to be performed, price set and service level agreement. This ensures you are well informed of the agreed work and fee.
