To make sure that you change over to Arrow is smooth and trouble free there are a a few things to check before hand
If you are charging providers only (in other words you have no new equipment or lines being installed) then it is import to make sure that you phone system has no LCR programming set up in it. LCR stands for Least Cost Routing and is sometimes programmed in by providers to ensure that your calls are routed through their net work. The danger is that if this programing is present and left in place your calls will still continue to be charged by your old provider. Have your private equipment maintainer check the PABX before the cut over. If you do not have a private maintainer Arrow can help you organise one.
IF you are getting New lines and/or changing the types of lines you have, there are a few other thigs that should be checked.
Make sure that your existing equipment is able to support the new lines. Your private mainainer will be able to tell you this or again Arrow can help you to organise a Tech to check your equipment.
Make sure that you have given yourself sufficient capacity. What I mean by this is to make sure that you have enough phone lines to fulfill you business requirements, also if you are getting a data connect from Arrow make sure that you have given yourself a service that will be sufficient for your needs. The best way to ensure this is to talk to your account manager and tell him exactly hat your needs are, he will then be able to guide you to the best possible solutio.
As i have said, if you need help checking any of these things let your account manager know and we will help you with a solution.
