Porting numbers over from one carrier to another can be a difficult process. However, with careful planning and with a dedicated customer service representative overlooking the change over, the process should take care of itself.
Once your voice services have been installed, participating carriers require to schedule their availability. Therefore, a date for porting of numbers require a minimum of 10 business days. An Arrow customer service representative notify you to organise porting.
If you are using a PABX or any other type of phone system, you are required to have your phone maintainer present during the port. Depending on which carrier Arrow has assigned, a porting technician will be sent to the premise at that time. Should your phone maintainer be present at the same time, the rest should take care itself as both technicians will make sure that the porting is successful.
If you have any more questions regarding number porting, feel free to speak to our customer service representatives.
