Wireless vs Non wireless routers
18 Nov 2009, 12:35 pmWhen signing up for ADSL or ADSL2+ services with Arrow, you are given an option on which router to choose from. Wireless and non wireless, your choice would depend what your business requires.
Wireless and non wireless routers shipped by Arrow:
- Has a built in 4 port switch.
- Includes in line filter.
- Integrated modem/router.
- Contains ethernet cable and power supply.
The main difference is the wireless feature. Should you not require a wireless modem, it may be wise to get one just in case as you a non wireless modem is only limited to 4 connected computers. Wireless modems can hold at least 5 more computers wirelessly along with the 4 connected computers.
Depending on the type of plan you are connected on, the non wireless modem is free and is recommended if you require a basic internet connection and do not require to pay extra for the wireless feature.
