Mobile Subscriptions

10 Feb 2009, 11:47 am

If you’ve joined a mobile subscription and no longer wish to be involved, or if you’ve unwittingly joined and wish to stop receiving pesky (& potentially costly) messages, there are several methods for clearing up your phone’s inbox.

You can try removing yourself from the subscription provider by replying “UNSUBSCRIBE” or “STOP” to the message you have received, however there is a chance that this won’t be enough to stamp them out. It is also possible to search for contact details of the provider using the internet using either their business name or the individual code that appears on your invoice next to the charges (usually in the format 191 XXX XXX).

A large number of subscription providers have websites that will either list a phone number for you to call to remove yourself from the mailing lists, or they might even offer this feature via their website.

The team from Arrow can help you with information but we are unable to stop the messages.
