What is Google Goggles?
22 Feb 2010, 2:03 pmGoogle goggles is a new application currently available for Android devices running Android 1.6 and above. This new application use pictures to search the web and provide you with a description or information about that particular object. This is still new and is not quite perfect and may not work for everything but it sure does work for some things!
Once you have downloaded the application, you will be able to open the application, take a photo from your mobile phone of various objects such as a landmark, a book, contact information from a business card, artworks, places, wine and even logos.
You can also turn on “visual search history” to view or share your pictures at any time and you will be able to turn it off to discard them once the search is done.
