Issues encountered with LCR programming
8 Mar 2010, 1:16 pmWhen you first transfer to Arrow you may find that you’re old provider it still billing you. If this happens then you first need to check the dates and the types of charges to see what is overlapping.
It is very common for you to have been charged Service & Equipment in advance from your previous carrier and then when you’re lines transferred, Arrow has started billing you from the date of the transfer. In this circumstance your old provider should issue a credit on your next invoice from them. If this does not occur then contact them and query this. Arrow will be more than happy to provide you with the exact date of the transfer to Arrow.
If your services have transferred to Arrow and your old provider is still charging you for all calls except calls to 13,1300, 1800 numbers and Arrow is charging you for Line Rental (Service & Equipment) then it is highly likely that your phone system has LCR programming. This programming is a code which tells the network to charge your calls to a certain provider. If this happens then you will need to contact your phone maintainer to remove this LCR programming from your phone system so that the calls will then go through the default network and will bill through Arrow. If you do not have a phone maintainer. Arrow Voice and Data have very skilled technicians that will be able to assist you in getting theses codes removed from your phone equipment
If you have any further questions regarding LCR programming or your invoice then please call the Arrow Customer Service team on 1300 305 794.
