Altering Terms and Conditions
10 Feb 2009, 9:22 amWhen provisioning an account whether is is a new or old account, the important thing we look out for is customer amendments to Terms and Conditions.
This often raises concerns and need for discussions and further negotiations.
The Terms and Conditions are designed to protect both parties. Amendments require legal council to ensure the request for change is viable.
Baring in mind that Arrow provides services to their customers via most of the major carriers protection is built in, in the event of issues beyond our control. There are SLA rebates etc also built in to protect the customer should this event occur.
At Arrow Voice and Data amendments to our Terms and Conditions are generally declined.
This is because Terms and Conditions are legally binding documents between two parties and when signed and dated a customer fully accepts the conditions for trading with us and vice-versa.
In the event of a dispute, measures can then be taken within these Terms and Conditions to rectify the problem as soon as possible with minimal impact to the customer in question.
It is a way of protecting not only us as your supplier but also you as our must valued customer.
