Extension Level Billing
26 Oct 2009, 10:13 amHi All. In this blog I will be explaining what extension level billing is and why I would need it for my ISDN service.
Extension level billing is an extra feature that can be activated on your ISDN 10, ISDN 20, or ISDN 30. This feature allows your service to send out data via the people’s extensions from the number range associated to your ISDN service instead of sending all of the data from the prime number associated to your ISDN service.
This feature is used when a company would like to get a detailed analysis of the billing data at an extension level. ISDN billing is done normally under 1 single prime number. If you would like to know what each separate extension is billing on your monthly bills you would request the extension level billing feature.
Once this is setup on our networks switch you will need to make sure your PABX is setup correctly to send this data through to our carrier or this feature will not work. This can be confirmed with your phone system maintainer.
I hope this blog helps you. If you need any further information or would like to setup extension level billing. Please call through to our very friendly customer service team on 1300 305 794
