Setting up line hunt

Line hunt is a common business tool used to ensure you are not missing out on important business calls from your customers. As calls come through to your business’ busy main number, Line Hunt automatically connects calls to the next available line.
Line hunt is run with one number as the Prime followed by Axillaries

E.g.

Prime: 0291200000

Aux 1 

Aux 2

Each of the service numbers will hunt from one to the other until an available line picks up.

This allows for greater coverage of incoming calls and also reduces the cost of advertising as you only need to publish the Prime number instead of all lines at the site.

Setting up line hunt is as easy as contacting your provider and the appropriate paperwork will be forwarded out to confirm service to be added to the group.
