What levels of barring are available on my phone?
27 Aug 2009, 3:43 pmIf you are using a standard PSTN line on the Telstra Network then there are various levels of call barring that can be setup. This is especially useful if your staff are making personal long distance or international calls.
The different levels of Network Access are as follows:
- No outgoing calls
- 1800 calls only (as these are free from a landline)
- Local calls only
- Local calls, STD calls, Calls to Mobiles
- Local calls, STD calls, Calls to Mobiles, Value Added Services (19 numbers etc)
- Local calls, STD calls, Calls to Mobiles, International calls
- All calls allowed – Local calls, STD calls, Calls to Mobiles, International calls, Value Added Services
You can also add Call Control to your phone. This added service allows you to set a barring level on your phone and also gives you a pin number which you can use to make alternative calls. The pin number allows you to switch between the two Network Access levels that have been setup.
If you would like to know more about how to bar certain calls from your phone lines to save your business money then please call Arrow Customer Service on 1300 305 794.
